New: Amber Work Lights

Heavy rain? Thick fog? Sleet or Snow but you still need to get your job done?

This lighting season, we have added a new series of work lights, which emit an amber beam instead of the usual white daylight one. While they are not quite as bright as their white counterparts, they outperform them in inclement weather conditions like rain, sleet, snow, and fog.

Why is an amber light better than a white one in inclement weather?

An amber light has a longer wavelength than a white one. This causes its beam to get less scattered when water droplets or other particles are in the air. Instead of being reflected back, more light passes past the particles and actually lights up the surroundings. To the human eye this then results in less glare & eye strain and makes it much easier to see.

Amber work lights are available in all of the NOS Series lights in a wide and even work flood beam. A spot beam version is also available with N1042SA.

Built with the same housings as their white counterparts: die-cast aluminum housing, tough polycarbonate lens, and heavy duty 304 stainless steel mounting bracket so that you can be sure that they are up for the job.

Their amber beam is also less harsh on the human eye, which makes these lights great candidates for backup lighting.

Each light comes with a Deutsch plug for quick ‘Plug&Play’ install, heavy duty 304 stainless steel bracket and mounting hardware.
